Prizes for Our Local Universities

The BCS Aberdeen Branch sponsors an annual student prize for the best Computer Science student at both University of Aberdeen and Robert Gordon University. Details of the most recent recipients are provided below.

BCS Aberdeen Celebrates RGU Undergraduate with Degree Year Award

BCS Aberdeen is pleased to announce that Oluwapelumi Adebayo was awarded the BCS Degree Year Award for 2025 in recognition of exceptional academic performance and contribution to the field of computing.

The award was presented by Enete Faleye, Chair of BCS Aberdeen, during the Robert Gordon University School of Computing, Engineering and Technology Summer Ceremony on 1 July 2025. This annual award highlights the Institute's commitment to supporting emerging talent and encouraging excellence across the digital profession. BCS Aberdeen extends warm congratulations to Oluwapelumi and looks forward to his continued success.
